Hospice Support

The Stone Family Foundation supports hospices which, through trained volunteers, meet the needs of persons nearing death as well as those who are grieving over the loss of another.

The Foundation prioritizes organizations working in Central or Southern California.

Requests for Support

The Stone Family Foundation typically awards grants between $25,000 to $50,000 in the fall each year on an invitation-only basis. However, we welcome letters of interest (LOI) throughout the year. Any LOI received by June 30th will be considered for the 2025 funding cycle.  LOIs received after June 30th will be considered for next year’s cycle.

The Foundation also considers LOIs requesting smaller amounts of support (under $25,000), without a requirement of a full proposal. LOIs should be sent to adrienne@thestonefamilyfoundation.org.
